The focal
point of the estate is the original Great House, now the gathering place for social occasions, English afternoon tea, fine dining, and evening entertainment. At Nisbet Plantation Beach
Club every meal no matter how casual, is a special occasion to their talented chefs. Whether it's lunch served pool side at Coconuts or dinner on the Great House verandah overlooking the estate, it's a time for taste-tempting creations prepared and presented with flair.
While the food is tastefully served, beautifully presented, and served in a lovely atmosphere, be prepared to pay for it. This is one of the most expensive places on Nevis.
I certainly can't afford to go here everyday, but I do make it a point to have a least one breakfast or lunch on the verandah overlooking the sea. The view makes it worthwhile to treat yourself at least once while
visiting Nevis. They are open everyday from morning to mid evening and the dress in semiformal to formal in the great house in the evening. I highly recommend calling ahead several days for dinner
reservations. Lunch and breakfast are more casual and less expensive. If nothing else go down to their LOVELY beach bar for a cool one and to see their beach. Say
Hello to the guys at the beach bar for me.....Allison, Dan, and Paterson. By the way Paterson collects neckties, and currently has received over 800 different ties from the guests, yes I gave him a tie too. |
