Don't laugh, I REALLY do love gardening! I completely freaked out my Niece Devon when she came to visit me one day, and found me pulling weeds. I guess she assumed that I always listened to Reggae full tilt, with a beer in one hand and a ciggy in the other. I just wish that my garden looked even half as good as the Nevis Botanical Gardens. In my climate in Ohio tthough, that ain't never gonna happen! I must say though, that every time I visit these gardens, I do get inspiration and ideas to improve my ather modest garden. If you have the time while on holiday in Nevis, I would highly advise that you put the Botanical Gardens high on your list of "must sees". They also have a nice gift shop and a small restaurant that serves very good food. Mainly a lunch place though, as I don't think they are open at night. |
