Shopping in Nevis is a rather limited venture....thank God. There are really no boutiques or designer shops on Nevis. However there are plenty of lovely homemade arts and crafts for purchase. Nevis also has great locally produced pottery, which you will see all over the island. If you want glitzy touristy stuff you will have to take a day trip to St. Kitts. Lots of cheap tat over there, along with duty free booze and Cuban cigars. To be honest if all you want to do when you come to the Caribbean is shop, then please go to another island. We like Nevis the way it is. |
